Erbil :On 24/2/2015 at the eve of Erbil Business Conference ,which to be held in Erbil for the period of 1-2 / 3/2015 the auspices of Mr. Nechirvan Barzani prime minister of Kurdistan Region , Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat the President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce was held  a press Conference for a large number of media chanels ,mentioned that this conference to be held  in coordination between the Federation of  Chambers of Commerce and Industry of  the Kurdistan Region and the British - Iraqi business Council.

Mr .Khayat  gave  an idea of the importance of this conference, which will address its panels  a vital sectors such as oil and gas - Higher Education - Construction - Health and banks .

From  the Kurdistan and  Iraqi side a large number of officials involved in these sectors as well as business owners and commercial interests will attend Conference of.

Erbil: For the period of 18,19/2/2015 a delegation of Kurdistan federation of chambers of commerce ,headed by Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat the president of the Federation visited Dubai Chamber of Commerce .

The visit was to  discuss opportunities for joint trade cooperation between the two sides through the promotion of the presence of UAE companies in the market for the region and benefit from the experience and the experience of Dubai Chamber of Commerce in various technical fields.

The program included meetings with Mr. Hamad Bu Amim, Director General of Dubai Chamber of commerce ,and bilateral meetings held  with sectors and technical department managers in the  mentioned Chamber for the varied services and initiatives of the Chamber as well as interviews and meetings with business and government officials.

Erbl:On 15/2/2015 ,  Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat the president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce has received in his office an Egyptian commercial delegation headed by Mr.SinaMohammed Ali Commercial Counselor at the Egyptian consulate in Erbil.
The meeting went on in the presence of a number of members of the chamber board of directors in order to discuss ways to develop the volume of trade exchange between the Republic of Egypt and the Kurdistan region .

  Mr. President of the Chamber welcomed the guest delegation and wished them a pleasant stay in their second home, wishing to do more of these technical visits that will enhance trade and economic relations between the two countries, also expressed his full support for all business trends and activities that come from Egyptian side to serve the economies of the two countries.

Erbil On 12/2/2015 ,TRT Turkish Channel interviewed  Mr.Soran Abu bakir aziz the deputy president  of the Chamber .The questions were about the role of the Erbil  Chamber of Commerce and Industry,in domestic and overseas business activities, the current economic situation in the region and the number of Turkish companiesoperating in the region. also included question about haw Kurdistan economy influenced ,of not receiving the annual portion  of general budget of the Iraqi state and ongoing battles with al Daash terrorist.

The answers stressed on a firming Chamber of Commerce direction  in support of commercial activities within the Erbil and permanent readiness to support the orientations of foreign companies to operate in Kurdistan , It also emphazesed the decline in the economic situation in the region as a result of the strongly decline in oil prices .
Also stressed that the presence of Al-Daesh terrorist organization on the borders of the  region, affecting a lot of development projects and pushed  many companies to leave their projects as a result of the fear of brutal terrorists Daash .But thankfully  a lot of them has returned after prevailing security in the region .He pointed out that the lion's share of foreign companies are registered for Turkish companies, Mr. Vice President of the Chamber predicted that economic and security situations in the continuous improvement and development will continue as have  planned.

Erbil:On 11/2/1015 ,a  media crew of Zagros TV channel interviewed Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat the president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce .

the Interview aimed at focusing on the most prominent projects and activities of the Chamber of the current year 2015 .

Mr.Khayat talked about the most important activities .Of those projects ,the Erbil Conference for Business,which will be held in Erbil during the period 1,2/3/2015 ,and in corporation with British Business Council ,under the patronage of Mr.Nechirvan Barzani the Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government .a number of businessmen in Kurdistan and Uk also the related government establishments and private sector will present in the conference .
