Erbil: On 04/02/2015 , r. Dara Jalil Khayat President  of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,in his office ,has recievedMr. Lark Aoverwist Senior Advisor for reform in the United Nations Development Program - based in Erbil , and Mrs. MazhukhoYokoi  an expert in International Development Organization's Programs in order to activate the memorandum of understandingsigned between the Information Center of the Erbil  Chamber of Commerce and industry .

The United Nations Development program  and the Chamber to reach a joint program on the role of the private sector, inKurdistan through  the establishment of seven medium projects to accommodate the largest number of unemployed womenelement ,to be  admitted to the training courses under the supervision of the organization.

The parties have  been agreed to put forward a number of projects, to choose seven of them through a committee formed for this purpose, which was welcomed by the  President of the Chamber expressing his willingness to provide the necessarysupport of the International Organization for the success of the proposed projects and absorb unemployment  among the female element to contribute to the building of the Kurdistan economies.

Erbil: On 01/26/2015,In Erbil Capital of Kurdistan Region , the first customs conference on the occasion of the International Day of Customs  was held in the presence of ,Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat president of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Kurdistan Region , as well as  General Director of of Customs in Kurdistan Region.

Also A number of other concerned officials in this regard were attended in this conference , in addition to elite group of business interests in the region. Mr.Khayat  spoke on this occasion and expressed, his satisfaction with the holding of this conference to study the ways to facilitate customs procedures at border crossings because the complexity of the proceedings does not serve the state nor the traders ,who are playing an important role ,in the provision of goods and services to citizens ,wishing to be applicable laws to chime with those which apply universally, as recommended to  traders opinion to be taken, when drafting laws relevance to customs system as the businessmen have  experience in business transactions , according to Custom Guide , There are eight  customs gates  in Ebrahim Khalil  - Pashmagh  - Pervezkhan - Haj Omran and  Sulaymaniyah international airport , and three Custom courts work to resolve problems and allowing free entry and exit of goods to the region.
