Erbil:On 18/5/2014 , Mr.Dara Jalil Khayat the president of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry , welcomed a trade delegation from Mosiad Group ,headed by Mr.Mohamad  Ali Dondar , the head of Mardin Branch .

T he delegation was came to study the Kurditan Market situation ,and the desire of clients here ,aiming to open a branch in Erbil ,Mr.President of the Chamber welcomed the delegation ,promised them to offer support for them to enter Kurdistan Market

Erbil :   On 13/5/2014 , Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a trade Dialogue ,at the hall of  Social and Cultural Center belonging to The Chamber ,this conversation meeting attended by a delegation of a trade foundation from Germany called Numov,whch is in charge of business dialogue between Iraq and Germany .

The chamber represented by Mr.Soran Abubakir Aziz the deputy president of the Chamber  and a number of Administrative members of Chamber ,also a number of businessen in Erbil , The mayor of Erbil Mr.Nihad Qoja , and Saro Dzayee .

From The German side  Mr. konter Mull the  excutive director of the Foundation ,Mr.Rod Kridell the head of Trade department ,of German Ministry of Trade and Energy ,attended the meeting.

Mr.Deputy president of the Chamber welcomed the delegation ,hoped for them a pleasant stay in Kurdistan ,talked about the nature of business activities in Kurdistan Region ,the number of foreign companies operation in the region ,which has reached 2300, the amount of foreign investment exceeded  37 billion US $,the stability and security available in the region ,the laws enforce  in the region ,which is in the benefit of local and foreign investor ,indicated to the number of German Companies operating in the region ,which is 81 ,this number not suitable with the technical ,business and scientific capacity of Germany ,asked the German delegation to encourage their companies to enter Kurdistan Market .

The head of the delegation was thankful for the warm welcome , and emphasized that the German and Kurdistan Business deals in expansion to reach significant business understanding .

Erbil: On 12/5/2014 , A delegation from trade department of US department of state headed by Ms .Maria  visited the chamber ,welcomed by Mr.Soran Abubakir azis deputy president of the Chamber ,and a number of administrative members of Erbil Chamber.

Mr.Aziz hoped this visit make a difference in the nature of commercial relations between Kurdistan  Region and USA, expressed  his sorrow for having a little number of American companies operating in Kurdistan Region ,which it has a great amount of security and stability ,asked the delegation to encourage their companies to enter Kurdistan Market .

The delegation inquired about the nature of the role of the Chamber  ,its role in shaping economic and trade policies for the region, Mr. Vice-President of the Chamber, gave  full explanation on the subject, which also pointed to the growing number of foreign companies operating in the region, which amounted to more than 2,300 companies, also touched on a number of those companies affiliated to the Chamber ,which has reached more than 35 000 members.
