Erbil: On 02/05/2013 Mr. Dara Jalil Khayat  President of Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry has received a number of officials from the General Board of Tourism headed by Mr. Mawllawy Jabbar chairman,  of the boardthe meeting was attended by a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber ,they talked about the importanceof coordination between the Board and the Chamber of Commerce in the development of the tourism sector after the increasing the  number of tourists who flocked into  the region in 2012 to more than two million tourists, and they  hoped that the figure upto three million this year, also Mr. President of the Chamber praised the role played by the Chamber in order to boost tourismforward, stressing that  there was effective role and  contribution of the Chamber  by providing facilities for those  investors andbusinessmen wanting to build hotels, motels and other tourist facilities.

 Mr. Chairman of the  Board of Tourism   requested the inclusion of the Tourism  board representatives in delegations future in order to promote tourism in the region

Erbil: On 02.02.2013 in the hall of the Cultural and Social Center of  the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry an expanded meeting was held, attended by Dr. Hamid Drbandi / director of public relations at the  Kurdistan Regional Presidency - official of Syrian file - representative of president Massoud Barzani, Mr. Nawzad Hadi Governor of Erbil and the chairman and members administrative body of the Chamber and heads and members of the administrative board of unions businessmen, contractors and investors, with a large number of members of these organizations, the representative of Kurdistan Region President  gave a speech to the audience explaining the dire situation of our brothers the Kurds of Syrian refugees residing in the complex of Dumez in addition to those who have not been displaced from their home  and areas in Syrian Kurdish provinces and unlimited support provided by the Kurdistan government of food and fuel and in kind materials, noting the importance of standing with their plight collecting donations  to protect them from cold and hunger, also Mr. Nawzad Hadi Governor of Erbil gave a speech urged attendees to initiate donations for the same goal and purpose, through the  forms have issued by the Barzani Charity Foundation to fill out them and sent to the committee in charge of the province after determining the nature of donations.
