The Indian Consulate in Erbil is seeking to Develop Trade Relations with the Region

Erbil: On 06.10.2016 ! Dr. Dara Jalil Khayat  The President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry received in his office Mr .Dibatt Meclana the Indian Consul General in Erbil .

 

A meeting between both sides held in the presence of members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber, Mr. Dibat Melclana ,  talked about  the aim to develop trade and economic relations with the Kurdistan Region, where he pointed out the existence of a number of  Indian companies that  are  operating in the Region freely without encountered any problems, and hoped to have a greater involvement and coordination between the two parties to serve the economies of both countries. For his part, Mr. President of the Chamber, welcomed the visit and praised the capacity  of India's economic at all levels and the exploitation of the owners of Kurdistan commercial interests and to take advantage of Indian goods and supply to the region which has commercial relations with this ancient stat since e long ago.

Dr. Khayat expressed willingness to provide appropriate assistance to Indian companies wishing to work in Kurdistan.
